Hat Yai Train Station

Hat Yai Train Station is the southernmost Major Rail 'Hub', Depot, and Junction on Thai Railways Southern Line for both passenger and Freight trains.

Hat Yai Rail Station is a large station with a large railyard and locomotive shed. Hat Yai Station is Thailand's only International Train Station, being a Depot for both Thai Railways (SRT) and Malaysian Railways (Keretapi Tanah Melayu, KTM). Train Services Services inside Hat Yai Rail Station incude a 'Left-Luggage Counter', and an Advance Booking Office.

The Hat Yai Train Station is centrally located for convenient transfer to Bus or Minivan Service. There are many Travel Agencies near the station, including one right across the street. When you arrive at Hat Yai Station in the morning, there are restaurants and food vendors in all of the streets surrounding the station.

Hat Yai- Local Transfer Information

Hat Yai is the Southern Bus and Minivan Hub for all other destinations in Southern Thailand and Malaysia. There are Travel Agencies everywhere around the City Center to help you with onward travel, including one right across from Hat Yai Station. From Hat Yai Train Station you simply walk into a nearby travel agency and buy a ticket for the next bus or minivan Service going to your desired destination.

Common road destinations from Hat Yai include the Dannok (Thailand) / Sadao (Malaysia) Border Crossing, the Padang Besar (Both Thailand and Malaysia) Border Crossing, Pak Bara (for Ko Tarutao or Ko Lipe Islands, 2 1/2 hours) and Satun (for Langkawi and Ko Tarutao Islands, 2 hours). Hat Yai Station is much closer to the city center than either its Bus or Minivan Hubs.

International Rail Services stopping at Hat Yai Station include SRT's 'International Express' (Bangkok - Butterworth) and KTM's 'Langkawi Express' (Hat Yai - Kuala Lumpur). Both Services have one train per day in each direction

Sebuah setesen yang amat beso dan banyak lagi looplinenya. Satu bende je takde iaitu tak tau macam mana rupa bentuk bangunan depannya. Hehehe... Pintu masuk bangunan tu umpama macam masuk kat pintu belakang. Keadaan dalamannya agak gelap dan suram kerana kurangnya pengcahayaan (mengharapkan ihsan mentari di luar), berbeda ngan KL Sentral. Satu bende yang efisien berada di luar setesen, perkhidmatan tuk-tuk yang cekap dah terhidang di luar setesen dengan harga bawah 100 baht.
